ENDORSEMENTS
Mayor George Cretekos, Clearwater, FL (former) “Last year’s LOOK UP Clearwater Music Festival inspired attendees with its message of hope and love. Moving this year’s event to downtown Clearwater promotes the city’s Imagine Clearwater plan where the downtown is everyone’s “second neighborhood,” and I look forward to attending this celebration.” Bill Horne, City Manager, Clearwater, FL “When I walked on the grass field where the Look Up gathering was being held, I saw a community of faith that represented God’s diverse creation singing praises to His name in song. This kind of fellowship may not appeal to everyone, but there are many in our community value who what it means. Everyone is welcome!” Dr. Stan Vittetoe, St. Petersburg College, Clearwater Campus, Provost “LOOK UP CLEARWATER is a wonderful event promoting family, fun, and fellowship. It’s a great showcase of the talent and organizations that support and grow our community. I’m proud that SPC is a sponsor and participant. “ |
LOOK UP Clearwater is...
Christians erasing racial and denominational lines to bless our city through music, with a message of hope that brings race, faith, family and community together!
We have something special here in the Clearwater area besides our beautiful beaches and warm climate. We have many churches who are committed to transcending the racial and denominational boundaries that plague other cities, in order to lift up our community with the positive Gospel message of love, hope, and redemption.
With this purpose we present Look Up Clearwater Music Festival.
We're looking to extend "Look Up Clearwater" as a recognizable brand in our community, that represents Christians/churches reaching out to influence and inspire the positive growth of our area, in opportunities of education, business, and restoration of broken families and lives.

We are a fellowship of pastors serving churches located in and near (but not limited to) the Greenwood Community of Clearwater. Our great desire and vision is to see our community rise up and prosper through the transforming power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, one soul at a time. For this reason we are working together to bring the Presence of the Lord to our streets, communicating the Gospel and promoting healthy educational, family, and business opportunities, through the common language of music and public testimony. For this reason we are reaching out across our city to bring GOD's blessing to all of Clearwater.
Givers never lack, and a rising tide lifts all boats. So let's exalt the Lord together and be a blessing.
The organizing committee members of the project are Pastor Carlton Childs (UPCMA President) of Overcoming Ministries, Pastor Donald Scott of Bayview Baptist Church, Pastor Nathaniel Ramsey of Restoration Village Ministries, Pastor Sandra Wilson and Apostle Norma Fontaine Philbert of Garden of Grace Ministries.
